Inspiration

Inspiration can come in several different ways and can affect several different things in our lives. Everything from the way we interact with others, to how we do our jobs, and how we carry ourselves as human beings is often inspired by our families, friends, and through God.

If you, like me, believe in a purpose driven life, then you can see how easily people can be encouraged to act on their inspirations. We need to feel fulfilled, and it is only in first being inspired through God, that we can achieve what is desired to be done. In some ways, inspiration is the birthplace of passion. For once we are inspired, coupled with motivation, we are moved to find out what ignites our soul.

I will close with some quotes from the Harmony House/Healthy Living Nutrition staff that have been inspirational.

“Start by doing what’s necessary, then do what’s possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”-St. Francis of Assisi

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” -Lao Tzu

"Praise be to the God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
