Meet the Expert Therapists and Staff Behind Our Services

Brooke DeRouen, LPC, LAC, is licensed as both a professional counselor and a substance abuse counselor. She has over 15 years in the profession with experience within the state and private sectors providing individual and group counseling in an inpatient hospital setting and outpatient setting for adults. She has also served in a supervisory capacity throughout her career. She has participated in community outreach opportunities, serving underprivileged youth. Brooke also has crisis management experience.
Brooke's style is client-centered and encouraging, yet she is also direct and provides guidance towards progress based on the mutually agreed upon goals established for treatment. She listens intently to your story and is compassionately curious about you and how together you can move forward into healing.
More than anything, Brooke enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two daughters, as well as her extended family.

Martin Richard, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He has experience with working with both adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric treatment, residential case management services, outpatient psychiatric treatment, and online through telehealth for those with both addictions and mental health concerns. Martin also has performed employment and vocational counseling. As a recreational coordinator, he has facilitated a ropes course, rock-climbing activities, and team building exercises for creating trust and confidence with youth and adults in residential programs. His versatile background supports his easy style of relating to many people from a variety of backgrounds.
Martin brings a unique approach to counseling adolescents and adults and couples who are struggling with depression, anxiety, addictions, trauma, and vocational uncertainty. His passion to help people experience an improved quality of life is evident in his engagement and guidance with clients, who appreciate his wisdom and wit.
Martin enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, dogs, and family. A fun fact about Martin is that he enjoys playing the accordion and dancing at festivals.

Devonie Matte, LPC, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her many years of working in an inpatient hospital setting and specializing in treating both substance abuse and mental health disorders has given her invaluable experience in knowing and understanding the struggles that people experience. She is enjoying working with adolescents and adults who present with anxiety, depression, grief, substance abuse, and trauma.
She is an empathic listener and exhibits confidence and reassurance when working with clients. Her direct yet compassionate approach to meeting clients where they are helps to guide them along towards progress through the counseling process. Her approachable demeanor helps to ease clients into building a trusting relationship. She moves at the client's pace with encouragement and wisdom along with a competence skill set.
Devonie likes quiet coffee times and truly enjoys naptime. She and her husband, James, have three little princes, who fill their lives with joy and laughter.
Devonie's favorite scripture is John 3:16,

Jennifer A. Glasscock, MSW, LCSW is the owner of Harmony House Counseling & Life Coaching, LLC. Her professional experience includes being a contractual clinician providing adolescent, adult, and marriage/couples counseling, offering medical social work in a hospital setting, establishing and facilitating a cancer survivor support group, directing a rape crisis program, and conducting child/adolescent and family counseling in the state mental health system. She has also been in ministry leadership for the past fifteen years.
She is passionate about assisting clients in their transformation from emotional upheaval to soundness of mind. Her style is client-centered, interactive, compassionate, nonjudgmental, and solution-focused. It is her goal to create a secure, safe, and genuine environment where clients can experience the acceptance and honesty necessary for healthy growth.
She has also co-owned a property management and maintenance business with her husband for over 25 years. She and her husband, Douglas, have been married for over 30 years and have two adult children. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family & friends, traveling, listening to different genres of music, reading and walking.
Jennifer's life scripture is Isaiah 46:10, "Be still, and KNOW that I am God."

Breanna Langley, is our Receptionist. She takes pride in being the welcoming face and first point of contact for everyone who walks through our doors. She enjoys meeting new people and creating a friendly, professional environment. Bree says, "Whether at the front desk or with loved ones, kindness is my biggest goal." She brings with her a sweet presence and desire to assist our clients with ease as they take the first step into the healing journey.
Bree loves spending time with her family, being outside, and eating a lot of crawfish during the season.

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future."
