Shelbie Bergeaux,
LPC, NCC

Shelbie Bergeaux, LPC, NCC, is a native of Eunice, Louisiana and is currently working as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Shelbie obtained a Bachelor of Art in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Louisiana College before obtaining a Master of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Shelbie is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology through Walden University. 
 

Shelbie had the opportunity to work with a variety of client population while working towards
her master’s degree. Shelbie worked in the ABA therapy profession for a few years before
transitioning to a private practice setting to complete her practicum and internship requirements.

 

As a counselor, she is passionate about actively helping individuals prioritize their mental
health. Shelbie has a passion for working with a widespread client population. She enjoys working with children as young as five years of age, along with adolescents, and adults. Shelbie enjoys working with individuals who suffer from a range of difficulties including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorder-hyperactive, oppositional defiant disorder, postpartum depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, autism, grief/loss, and daily life adjustments. Shelbie also enjoys working with parents on their parenting styles and skills. 

 

Shelbie and her husband, Kaleb, have been married for 5 years and together for 11 years. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and fur babies. Shelbie also enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and having time to just relax!
 

Her favorite bible verse is Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am you God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will hold you with my righteous right hand.

Devonie Matte, LPC-S

Devonie Matte, LPC, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her many years of working in an inpatient hospital setting and specializing in treating both substance abuse and mental health disorders has given her invaluable experience in knowing and understanding the struggles that people experience. She is enjoying working with adolescents and adults who present with anxiety, depression, grief, substance abuse, and trauma.

 

She is an empathic listener and exhibits confidence and reassurance when working with clients. Her direct yet compassionate approach to meeting clients where they are helps to guide them along towards progress through the counseling process. Her approachable demeanor helps to ease clients into building a trusting relationship. She moves at the client's pace with encouragement and wisdom along with a competence skill set.

Devonie likes quiet coffee times and truly enjoys naptime. She and her husband, James, have two little princes, who fill their lives with joy and laughter. 

Devonie's favorite scripture is John 3:16,

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."

Judy Williams,
LPC, NCC

Judy Williams, MS, MA, LPC, NCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor. As a retired public school teacher of elementary and secondary education, she has many years of experience walking alongside families and students throughout their developmental years. She also has experience working in an intensive outpatient psychiatric hospital setting helping clients who suffer from both mental illnesses and addictions. She focuses on bringing healing to clients experiencing depression, anxiety, sobriety, career guidance, unhealthy learned relational patterns.

Judy has a passion to see people be able to move forward from a place of discontent or crisis into a place of engagement and peace about themselves and their lives.

Judy’s therapeutic style is warm, sincere, and personable. Her strength is building a trustworthy therapeutic relationship with her clients with a calm and wise demeaner that helps clients know that they are seen, heard, and understood. She applies common sense, biblical principles, trauma-informed, science-based methods in each session, helping clients to experience effective, goal-oriented counseling.

Judy enjoys traveling and has seen many different parts of the world, studying Scriptures and reading. She delights in spending time with her adult children and her precious grandchildren. 

Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to me and I will show you great and mighty things; things you do not know."

Jennifer A. Glasscock, MSW, LCSW is the owner of Harmony House Counseling & Life Coaching, LLC. Her professional experience includes being a contractual clinician providing adolescent, adult, and marriage/couples counseling, offering medical social work in a hospital setting, establishing and facilitating a cancer survivor support group, directing a rape crisis program, and conducting child/adolescent and family counseling in the state mental health system. She has also been in ministry leadership for the past fifteen years.

She is passionate about assisting clients in their transformation from emotional upheaval to soundness of mind. Her style is client-centered, interactive, compassionate, nonjudgmental, and solution-focused. It is her goal to create a secure, safe, and genuine environment where clients can experience the acceptance and honesty necessary for healthy growth.

She has also co-owned a property management and maintenance business with her husband for over 25 years. She and her husband, Douglas, have been married for over 30 years and have two adult children. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family & friends, traveling, listening to different genres of music, reading and walking.

Jennifer's life scripture is Isaiah 46:10, "Be still, and KNOW that I am God."

Kim Lafleur

Kim LaFleur is our receptionist. She is the warm inviting face you first see when you check in at our office. She is here to assist you when it comes to insurance questions, scheduling an appointment, and helping with any other questions that you may have! 

 

Kim was born and raised in Eunice, LA. She and her husband moved to Texas and lived there for 20 years. During her time in Texas, she worked in the graphic design industry. In 2007, she and her husband moved back to Duralde, Louisiana and currently owns a crawfish farming business. 

 

During her free time, her passion is to spend as much time as she can with her grandchildren. When she is not spending time with her grandchildren, you can find her upcycling and refinishing any antique furniture she can get her hands on! She also enjoys engaging in woodworking, as well as collecting vintage items. 

 

Her favorite bible verse is Romans 8:38

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Bailey Granger, Admin Assistant

Bailey Granger is our administrative assistant. She is the friendly, upbeat voice you will hear when you call to ask questions or to schedule an appointment.  She creates our social media content, authors our monthly blog and designs our monthly newsletters.

Bailey has a passion for meeting people where they are in their mental health journey. She is currently in pursuit of her Bachelor’s in Social Work with Liberty University’s online program. She will then work towards a Master’s Degree in Family and Marriage Therapy, in order to become a Licensed Family and Marriage Therapist. She has a heart for people, and feels it is her purpose on this earth to lead people closer to Jesus – and closer to one another – through counseling & fostering healthy relationships. 

 

Bailey has been married to her husband, Micah, for one year! Together they enjoy road trips, quality time with family & close friends, and pastoring youth students at New Hope Church. In her day-to-day life, Bailey loves iced lattes, working out, and quiet time! 

 

Her life scripture is Matthew 5:8.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”
