What are your fees for private pay clients who do not wish to bill insurance? 

$115.00 for the 60 minute initial appointment/assessement 

$102.00 for each follow up 50 minute session

$35.00-45.00 for each group session

We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. A card processing fee may be applied if you use a credit or debit card. Payment in full is expected prior to each appointment. 

Do you accept insurances?

Yes.  Please check with your insurance company to find out your plan has mental or behavioral health benefits. You may have a co-pay, office visit or deductible to meet before your insurance will cover the cost of counseling.  

As most insurances do not cover marriage counseling, marriage counseling must be paid for out of pocket. 

As a word of caution, filing an insurance claim will enable health and life insurance companies to gain access to your records. Your records contain a mental health diagnosis, treatment plan, and session notes. If you do not wish this information to potentially be shared with insurance companies and are able, we encourage you to seek our private pay option as laid out above.

We are approved providers for the following insurance companies:

  • Blue Cross/Blue Shield

  • Healthy Blue Medicaid

  • ChampVA 

  • Meritain Health

  • TriCare/TriWest

  • UMR

  • UnitedHealthcare & United Healthcare Community (Medicaid)

  • Vantage Health Plan

  • Verity

  • All other insurance plans consider us an out-of-network provider.
    • If you wish to file a claim with your insurance company, we will provide you with documentation to submit on your own behalf.  Not all plans cover mental health care and not all counseling is considered medically necessary.  Please consult with your insurance company to determine your benefits.  Reimbursement from your insurance company is strictly between you and your insurance company. 

Do you accept Medicare?

No, we have opted-out of being a Medicare provider at this time.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

We maintain a 24-hour cancellation policy for any scheduled appointment.  Only in cases of an emergency will the cancellation policy be waived.  Late cancellations or no shows will be charged a $25 No Show fee for the missed scheduled appointment.  We aim to foster a mutual respect of your time and our time.  There is often a waiting list of people needing appointments. Habitually missed appointments rob others of getting the help they need.
